my exams.
I did write a post the other day, but something weird happened and it was there then it was gone, it was strange, but oh well! Maybe I just wasn’t meant to share with the world my insane happiness at that particular moment.
So as I said, exams are nearly over. Can’t freaking wait to be able to do what I want when I want and not have to worry about uni, especially given the horribleness of this semester healthwise. I started the semester off commencing medication for my depression, which severely stuffed with my sleep and wrote me off for the first 4 weeks, when other ovary-related issues kicked in, and made me feel even worse! So I’ve basically had a crap semester uni-wise and can’t wait to get results, know how I went and get it over with. Tomorrow morning is my last exam.
Unfortunately though the stress that cumulated throughout the semester, and the stress of having to pull myself together in the days before exams has turned me well, slightly psychotic. And those who know me best know that when I am in that, slightly psychotic state (lol) I tend to take it out on people close to me! Usually it’s my parents but when there’s a dude snoopin around he cops it, apparently, well at least he did this week, despite the fact that last week he had me walking around smiling like a freaking idiot so much my face hurt! So I’m pretty cut that I said some stupid things, mis-assumed some stupid things and may have stuffed some things up – but we’ll see how that turns out. Update sometime, lol.
Congratulations to the fabulously talented Rachie – link on my sidebar – for her stuff in this months Better Homes and Gardens. Gorgeous Advent calendar and other goodies – run along and buy the magazine to check out her stuff!
What do you guys think of the idol outcome? I’m pretty happy I supppooooooose… I didn’t really care who won because I loved em both, and lets face it the winner usually doesn’t do that well anyway – ironically. And now Matt can take his time and do what he needs to do. I think he’s sensational though.
Okay – so – Tomorrow morning - last exam – i gotta go focus then I guess, huh?
OH quick mention though of the wonderful Mel Goodsell - link on my sidebar – she’s got some exciting christmas how-to’s on her blog and theyre just fantastic so check it out. Love your stuff Mel you never cease to amaze me.
Just quickly, too a few more plugs
if you’re in the Campbelltown area don’t forget to drop in and check out The Scrapbook Place at Woodbine (next to Sizzler at “fast food central” as I like to call it) – we have HEAPS of new stock and great prices – yes I might be a bit biased but people who know me also know that I’m pretty damn honest and I don’t go on bout something I don’t really believe in! – so go there. Terri did the other day – it was great to meet you Terri so glad your little one is not shy at all and said hello!
ALSO my former boss Linda McCarthy, photographer and scrapbooker extrodinairre now has her own photography business and is doing shoots. Prices are from $49 for her photography shoots – and that is for her amazing Christmas shots. Email me – krb87@optusnet.com.au – if you’d like to contact Linda and I will pass on her email or any more details that I have.
Quick funny story before I go – the other night Pauline and I were leaving work at 1am, after our staff crop. There was a car in the carpark and we had to lock the gate – we were like ‘are there people in there?’ I concluded there wasn’t, til I noticed the window was slightly open, the car was moving and the suspension was squeaking – LOL! yes, yes they were. So anyway, Pauline and I drove around the block, honked horn and shined lights into the car but still no movement other than what was already happening! So we got out… what would we say??? that was the question… so Pauline said “Hey if you’re in there youre about to get locked in”.. To which a little voice responded “okay but can we just get changed?” LMAO!
Funniest. Thing. Ever.
We hung around for about 15 minutes because we stopped laughing enough to be able to drive – it was hilarious – we were a bit saddened by thefact they didn’t even say thanks though – lol – they were too embarrased and sped past us as we waited for them to drive out the gate.
SIIIGH
Yes, it was pretty damn funny!
